what&#8217;s the what&#8217;s the<br \/>\nsummary of uh of the best place to stay<br \/>\nin maui<br \/>\nokay the best place to stay is in<br \/>\naccordance to what kind of vacation you<br \/>\nwant to have on maui<br \/>\nokay so here&#8217;s what i mean um if you&#8217;re<br \/>\na first time<br \/>\num visitor on maui and you want to<br \/>\nexplore a lot of things um<br \/>\nlike in the resort i would suggest stay<br \/>\non the west side ka&#8217;anapali lahaina<br \/>\num even kapalua<br \/>\nthey you know some people will say it&#8217;s<br \/>\na touristy side of uh maui<br \/>\nbut<br \/>\nit&#8217;s still so beautiful you know it&#8217;s so<br \/>\nbut it&#8217;s very very convenient so that&#8217;s<br \/>\nyou know the the west side kind of pali<br \/>\nlahaina but if you want a more quiet you<br \/>\nknow laid back<br \/>\ni usually suggest go on the south side<br \/>\nkihei wailea<br \/>\nand there&#8217;s still a lot of things to do<br \/>\nthey&#8217;re still you know they&#8217;re both<br \/>\nbeautiful<br \/>\nbut it&#8217;s not as crowded in my opinion as<br \/>\non the kanapali side<br \/>\nexcellent uh so that&#8217;s a great contrast<br \/>\nbetween the west side and the south side<br \/>\nof maui heidi what&#8217;s what&#8217;s your advice<br \/>\ni&#8217;d be curious heidi about what&#8217;s your<br \/>\nfavorite hotel if you&#8217;re going to stay<br \/>\nlike somewhere and i&#8217;d like to know<br \/>\nabout whatever else that that you want<br \/>\nto share heidi in addition that i just<br \/>\nwant to know what you&#8217;re just off hand<br \/>\nwhat hotel would you stay at as<br \/>\nwell oh wow um i mean this is such a<br \/>\nhard question<br \/>\nto even think about answering because<br \/>\nthere are so many unique and wonderful<br \/>\nplaces to stay and<br \/>\nthere&#8217;s a lot of vacation rentals on<br \/>\nmaui that are privately owned<br \/>\ncondominiums and homes and<br \/>\nand different resorts so<br \/>\num it takes some exploring but i mean<br \/>\nlike lisa said<br \/>\nthink about what is important to you<br \/>\nlike do you want to walk outside and<br \/>\njump in the ocean and be right there are<br \/>\nyou looking to be<br \/>\nin a quieter<br \/>\ncommunity i mean<br \/>\nthere there are just some amazing<br \/>\namazing places to stay i would probably<br \/>\nstay in a vacation rental personally<br \/>\nrather than<br \/>\na hotel or resort if i was<br \/>\nplanning my own trip<br \/>\num<br \/>\ni just want to add one thing about south<br \/>\nmaui and kihei i mean there are some<br \/>\nareas where it&#8217;s quieter but there&#8217;s<br \/>\nalso this one area called the triangle<br \/>\nwhere all the bars are and i would say<br \/>\nthat&#8217;s not a quiet area<br \/>\num yeah so if you&#8217;re looking for<br \/>\nsomething quiet don&#8217;t stay around there<br \/>\nyeah even for my own family i mean i<br \/>\ncan&#8217;t say that there&#8217;s one<br \/>\nthere&#8217;s one best place to stay on maui<br \/>\nbecause i just i&#8217;m aware of so many so<br \/>\nyeah you know it&#8217;s kind of funny i uh<br \/>\ni&#8217;ve had my well you know maui maui<br \/>\nholds a very very special place in my<br \/>\nheart because it is the first place<br \/>\nwhere i touched down my very very first<br \/>\nexperience in hawaii was maui uh and so<br \/>\na lot of um a lot of very very fond<br \/>\nmemories of that very first visit was it<br \/>\nwas transformational changed my life<br \/>\ncompletely uh and uh but uh late in<br \/>\nlater years i remember uh we stayed if<br \/>\ni&#8217;m not mistaken we stayed at the grand<br \/>\nwailea where i i&#8217;m more of the resort<br \/>\ni&#8217;m more of the resort kind of guy i&#8217;m<br \/>\nmore of the you know the vacation rental<br \/>\nis kind of cool i could definitely see<br \/>\nvacations makes a lot of sense but you<br \/>\nknow like when when our family goes on<br \/>\nvacation i want to be at a resort where<br \/>\ni can just kind of hang out and kind of<br \/>\nnot have to go anywhere not enough to do<br \/>\nanything just kind of enjoy the things<br \/>\nso we we really enjoyed uh the grand<br \/>\nwide layer but there&#8217;s of course lots of<br \/>\nuh there&#8217;s there&#8217;s amazing places to<br \/>\nstay<br \/>\nand uh the whole khan apology area is<br \/>\nreally amazing it is it is the waikiki<br \/>\nsort of of maui for sure but you got it<br \/>\nthat beach is is an
